Will the tour run if it's raining?

Tours run in sunshine, clouds, and drizzle. If heavy, non-stop rain is forecast, the tour will likely be cancelled. An email will be sent to all confirmed customers.

What's the cancellation policy?

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel at 857.262.6962 or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.

Is this tour strenuous?

Yes and no.  The Comm. Ave tour runs along a flat, paved path. There are a few tree roots on the path so people need to be alert and aware of their surroundings. The tour does last for 90 minutes. There are plenty of benches along the way to sit. The 'Good Morning, Newbury Street' and 'Newbury Street Holiday Stroll and Tour' require that participants have good mobility and are steady on their feet since the sidewalks are narrow and the surface can be uneven. Tours start early - at 9:30 am - to avoid crowds and cars. Groups for the Newbury Street tours are kept small - usually no more than six people.

Note: There are several street crossings that are part of the tour. The group will cross when cars have stopped at the red light.

What should I bring?

Bring water and a good attitude! If the weather forecast looks cloudy, drizzly, or chilly, you might want to take along an umbrella or jacket.
